Unaware that Budget is recently relocated at Bradley airport and no longer down the road, I used the airport rental car phone to call Budget for a shuttle, and no one answered the phone. I inquired at the airport information desk and was told to walk along the sidewalk half a mile to the new garage. I stood ONE HOUR and FIFTEEN MINUTES in line at the Budget rental line with 12 customers ahead of me and one desk clerk who waited on the same customer for 45 minutes. The adjacent Avis counter had 3 clerks efficiently processing their customers with no waiting. After 35 minutes, a second Budget clerk appeared and slowly processed customer rentals. When a Budget Fastbreak Express customer arrived, the desk clerk would immediately leave the customer she was waiting on and process the Express customer for 5 to 10 minutes. This practice is extremely rude and poor customer service. Now down to 10 customers ahead of me, Avis agents began assisting Budget customers. My turn came and an Avis agent called me over. I received my rental agreement and was told to pick up a Dodge Charger (which I requested a different vehicle and was told that was the only full size car available) in spot K-13 in the garage. There was no vehicle in spot K-13, and no Dodge Charger in the vicinity. The garage attendants were extremely friendly and helpful, and promptly assigned me a Chevy Malibu. Do you recall that I mentioned the desk clerk stating there were no other full size vehicles?? Guess what, there were several in the garage. So the helpful and efficient garage attendants and the gate attendants had me behind the wheel and out within 5 minutes. Upon returning the vehicle, the garage attendants were friendly and efficient, and also informed me of a bridge to the terminal on the 3rd floor so I wouldn't have to make the 1/2 mile walk where I was initially directed. The helpful, efficient, and friendly garage staff are the only reason Budget has received more than a zero rating from me, but I will never in my life rent from Budget or recommend Budget to anyone. Never ever.

even though i had a reservation - when we got to car rental line - it was terribly long - only one agent and at no time did they acknowledge or communicate to the long line what was going on or assure us that cars were in stock - i started to think mayb they were short on vehicles & standing there with guests i brought on my trip & tons of baggage ect is stressful enough- no way to know if my vehicle was ready - once i got to the agent she was kind & the rental was smooth but all the niceness hardly balanced with the stress of not knowing what’s going on & zero interaction with the line of customers - just because we are in line is no reason to ignore us - we are as much customers in line as we are at the counter - the minute we line up it’s a pretty safe bet we rented the car with your agency - so communicate with us

The lack of not scheduling the proper amount of people to work,is ridiculous! Both visits took me over an hour for a simple job. Customer service was great but NO ONE should have to wait over an hour with a reservation!!

There was a ridiculous lineand only 2 agents. Each customer took a long time. When we got to the desk, finally, the service was good. None of us was able to check in online, so despite the advertising, no such luck.

You can only pay with a credit card. They do not take debit cards. No cash, no checks. Only credit card.
We're dropping off our car at 4:30 am on Sunday. So, I think it's pretty flexible. The desk is across the way from the baggage claim area. No shuttle required.
I rented mine thru Costco so can't help you. I am well over 70. No extra charges.
As you come down the stairs from security to transportation, there is an information desk at bottom of stairs. If you turn right. And go out that next set if doors. You pick up shuttle there. Less than 5 minutes to rental lot.
Yes. All he needs is a credit card. Or a Debit card with ability to pass a soft credit check. I had my banking debit card. Im not sure if it has to beva bank card or not. Best to call ahead.
