Absolutely love this place! Great experience for adults and kids. Disc golf, beach, hiking, camping, play grounds...so much to do. Beautiful waterfall! One of our favorite places to camp and adventure as a couple and as a family

France Park is beautiful, even on a cloudy day. There's a spot for (seemingly for fishing) full of lily pads on one side of the park and another for swimming and kayaking/canoeing on the other side. There's also a waterfall not far past the entrance, but it can't be seen from the road. If you want to see that, you might ask the staff at the entrance where it's at. Anyway, there's plenty of places for photos and hiking. I'm a little sad I didn't get to explore more of the park since we weren't provided with a map or any sort of directions. The water is beautiful and you can find more about the park online than you can at the park itself. There are restrooms and plenty of camping sites for tent camping, possibly more. Like I said, I just went for hiking and photographing the scenery. It's an amazing hidden gem in the middle of nowhere, Indiana.

This is one of our favorite places to camp that is only 1.5hrs away from home. Love love love taking hikes here! My son loves going swimming! Just discovered they offer scuba diving classes. Great space to set up a tent and escape for a weekend!

This park is completely beautiful. Amazing views and trails. I especially liked that some trails led to hidden beaches. Trails are a difficult beginner level, requires some decent shoes. Water is crystal blue. The reason I gave it 3 stars is for 2 reasons. First, I read online they charge by car. When we got there they told us it was per person and did not provide a receipt or a map. And overall were a bit rude when I asked. Second, there was a lot of trash on the trails. I realize they can't control visitors but I was surprised by how much trash there was, made me feel disappointed.

Do they rent inner tubes? Is concession stand open during the week?
The fishing is great, and no they do not sell fishing stuff here you will have to bring your own..
Yes, but they have to be on a tie out or a leash at all times.
I've seen a lot of kids wading around in the creek and some people doing photoshoots there as well.
$ 5 PR person
18 dallors a nite for no electricity just with a tent for six nites and 2 tents on each site
Yes
Its $25 a night. For. A spot with electric and water. And $15 with out.
we would like too, but it is expensive. we are working on a way to remove the Lilly pads
Well, there's a lake there to go swimming, fishing,do your walks all around, cook outs, don't forget the marshmallows for the pits, and more
We kayaked there and ya u have to bring ur owm
Yes for a charge
Only has electricity and water
No camping fees are consistently the same however.... the earlier in the year it seems like they lack the ability to unlock public restroom facilities and leave no other result than to piss in the woods me & my gf both....🙃
$5 to get in to the park per person. Believe they're open year round.
I don't think so
Good place to camp
45 a night they have 1 cabin and it has a bunk bed and full bed no mattresses 18 for a primitive tent sight and 25 for electric primitive a night
It's not fully wheelchair accessible, there is a ramp at the beach and at the waterfall i think a wheel chair could go, but lots of trails are very narrow and unaccessible. I often have my grandmother or uncle in a wheelchair and feel it would be very difficult in a lot of areas. I think it would be worth a try tho this is an AMAZING place also i haven't been on all the trails so they may have a few that are. I'd call up there for any more questions they are pretty great
Now its been open whole tyme like normal like every year. U dont need mask nowhere logansport. And next town they in mask and gloves. It like an escape from virus lol which not real. They even opened cliffs back up to get more people come but litterly dum people started jumping from just everywher and jackass got hurt bad litterly 3 days ago and back to no more jumping or zipline cause someine always got to ruin. But water swimming open. I have been there litterly everyday day since labor day. Even stay open night after 830 pm any one under 18 not aloud adults only. BUT SSSHHHHHH. LOL cause when word out they take that away too or virus will
No it sucks trust me
Yes
Yes, there are full hook ups in the electric camping site. There's also a fully functional electric bathroom and vending machines like 200ft away.
There are two different shower areas. They are both centrally located in the camp grounds both green buildings. The older building contains one shower per restroom and the newer of the two buildings have several up to date showers that are very private with brick walls and a steel door. They were also very clean everytime I've visited.
Better get a reservation cause only so many campers
Yes they have trails for 4 wheelers they even have camp sites that takes a 4 wheeler to get to

Paddlefish. They are as far from the beach as you can get
They are open. Just smaller. They plan to drain it soon.
Its 2 tents per campsite, when I stayed there. Pay per night, per campsite,
Dunno.. Been there several times & have never seen it done. It is a private park, not a state or national park. If that helps at all
Correct, open year round with one cabin.
There is actually a second smaller one at the back of the Elzbeck Fishing lake. I've seen it from the top but to get a good view of it I think you need to be in the lake on a boat
Call there and contact Dana he will be able to answer all of ur questions about
Your not supposed to have fireworks in the park and they don't run a fireworks show
We were there Memorial Day weekend, the zip line wasn't in service. I don't know if they didn't have it going because of the weekend or of it no longer runs
as long as you fallow all DNR regulations
