Could not be more thrilled with the assistance I received. Contacted the DEP concerning an issue with illegal burning in my hometown. The staff was very friendly, informative and answered all questions. The issue was investigated and a follow up was made immediately. Would highly recommend contacting the office for any environmental issues or concerns.

Hello, I live in New Providence pa. I have a neighbor that burns treated lumber and shingles as well as PVC pipe. Is this allowed and what can I do about it my township seems to dismiss our complaints.

Contact the number for DEP here. That will take your information. I live in Duncansville in Blair County and had a neighbor burning the same. The borough here was very dismissive of my complaints. Once I contacted DEP they investigated within 48 hours and the burning stopped.

Who do i contact about a large pond of water that is a breeding ground for mosquitos? It is beside my house for a year now. And it dont go away....someone needs to dig a run off for this....
