Large amount of wildlife, telescopes for far viewing, very clean as well

A beautiful place with a wide variety of birds, weather- and migration-depending. Easy walking trails with clear signage, well maintained viewing platforms and roads. Port-a-johns available, although but always visible. Some of the information signage with weather-worn and unreadable, so bring your own bird identification resource. Well set up and fun for the whole family.

A great place to see many species of Waterfowl, from Egrets and Great Blue Heron to Osprey and Eagles. The auto-tour provides easy access to the views and there are many. I only saw one other person on the trail so stopping to take pictures is easy. The tour is 7.5 miles long but takes a good hour because of all the "critter stops".

Really good place to go clear your mind, enjoy some peace. About a 15 minute ride from town. They have a walking trail I have yet to try. The drive through is approximately 7 miles, wish they would've made the road a little wider in case someone wanted to pass you if you were taking pics
