This is a "you get what you pay for" hotel. It is less expensive that other options right on the river, and you can see where they cuts come. We stayed 4 nights and never got our room cleaned once. We had to ask for clean towels and each time they would bring us two towels. Our room did not have shampoo when we arrived and so we also had to ask for that every day. Again, they would leave us one little bottle. The hallway has the absolute worst smell I've experienced in a hotel, but the room smelled fine. They do charge you to park and there is no free breakfast. The immediate block around the hotel is not great - liquor stores, smoke shops, and fast food. Good things - it is cheap compared to all the other hotels in the area. You can walk across the river and be in downtown Cincinnati in 15 minutes. We walked to a Reds game, watched fireworks from the pedestrian bridge, and walked to dinner. The hotel staff were all very nice too! I'd stay here again for sure, but you just should be prepared that you're not at a fancy place. You're at a cheap hotel in a great part of the city.

This is the first holiday inn where breakfast was not complementary, they charge for parking if you are a guest at the hotel. The phone in the room did not work and the blackout curtain did not cover the whole window. Room was not entirely cleaned thick layer of dust on fixtures. There was no cable guide and no Disney channel for the kids. Just used to other holiday inn’s where these items are just standard.

I have stayed here before with no issue. But on this trip, I was surprised when I came back from a day at our company's plant that I was visiting to find my room had not been cleaned from the night before. When this happen a second day in a row I asked about it at the front desk. The person there acted surprised that I was asking her and that having my room cleaned was something I needed to request. I have never heard of this. So I asked her to have it done, ideally that evening. This did not happen, nor did it happen the next day. So by this point the room was almost out of toilet paper and long out of coffee for the coffee maker. Kind of shocking overall.

This an awesome, basic hotel to stay in. And when I say basic, I mean you are paying a lower rate for a clean, nice room that you don't even have to worry about. Bonus points for being pet friendly! It is right over the river in Covington, within walking distance of Cincinnati (over the bridge), or to any of Covington's charming local boutiques and restaurants, as well as fast food places. This is so easy to get to and is the only place we stay now that we have a dog!

Yes
I don't believe so.
The Hotel it self, doesn't have a shuttle. But, the Trolley and the Shuttle Bus do run right in front of the Hotel and it cost only $1.00 dollar one way, to the game.
