Been going to Omonia cafe for few years now, in Astoria and Brooklyn and I finally decided, after many attempts and chances given, to review this completely overrated place.. 20 types of cheese cakes, all with the same taste, with barely any real flavor.. the deserts are absurdly sweetened and sometimes just disgusting.. the simplest chocolate mouss has a sour taste from the amount of cocoa powdered that they poured in.. flan was overcooked.. food is ok..

I love the strawberry cheesecake here. It’s seriously and addiction at this point. I’ve eaten here once and the portions were pretty big for a BLT and fries, I was so full.

If you love cheesecake that is a place to go. We often went to other places that specialize in cheesecake but you can be sure that you find some different types of cheese cake here. I also had crepe and it was super delicious. If you get a chance to be in the neighborhood try it!
