One of my faves. Try the Cedar Fried Rice and Lemongrass Tofu. Everything is great.

I don’t like to be harsh in reviews of local restaurants but this one was rough. Ordered the squash risotto literally had no flavor at all. Same for Malaysian Curry. Wontons were good which got me up to thee stars. I wanted to like this place but have to be honest for my fellow diners.

We waited 45 minutes to get our food. The mac and cheese was great. The fries were not home made but probably from frozen. Spring roll was freshly made and delicious. Toilet was clean.

Is Loving Hut kosher? Who is the mashgiach kashrus?

Jonathan Azrielant | Oct 8, 2019
Akim'Bo Vegahvore | Oct 8, 2019

The owner is not jewish however the food is kosher considering it is a 100% plant-base (vegan) food restaurant meaning no meat or no animal byproducts or derivatives are used in preparing and cooking the food. This fits the criteria of kosher food. In this particular case a mashgiach isnt needed to supervise the food preparation or cooking because no meat or animal products is used. Not even eggs or diary. A mashgiach is a Jewish individual who oversees the procedure of meat processing before it makes it to a kitchen making sure that it is processed according to jewish food law (kosher)
