When I write a review of anything I have to know for sure what is the factor that makes the difference. We are not just basing it of the taste, the presentation, or the staff that makes it all possible for to enjoy our food. I have been comparing my two favorite Pollo Loco Restaurants for a little more than a year, I called them my favs as tne staff of all shifts had found a unique way to make it work in a way that all of them had to be best friends for more than 10 yrs. This people were rely dedicated to their work. Work ethics that make it seem all of them are managers at the same time. Everything was unreal to a point that i had to find something. And i decided to visit them on key times when normally mistakes happened. 8 months into my 1st fav the person that set the steps to follow was no longer part of tje team on site. Will not het into details about that but all i can say that the glue that held everything together was gone. Now the good thats cooked the same way on every pollo loco didn't taste good at all. I seen the dedication and also the frustration of having new members can cause. But for the northridge Location. I know that they have also great lead members that can be do more than the best to make it smooth for them and others. The attention, the upkeep of the location having always toppings and extra items that we crave is a plus the Northridge location is by far one of the most busiest Pollo Loco that i have seen. And they are Able to handle it like Champs. The customer they all love that and they will continue to keep it this busy. For that Great job to all the members that makes this possible

Last 2 time I gave Pollo Loco my business I was disappointed. Well here I go again and at least they are consistent. The new Biria tacos turn out to be more like onion & cilantro taco. You really have to go searching to find the $6.00 string of meat. NOT WORTH IT.

I ordered a 48 piece catering meal today and one of the jumbo sides I ordered was cole slaw. When I arrived to pick my order up the employee said, “I’m not going to lie, the cole slaw is a little frozen.” It was frozen solid. Imagine a giant slab of frozen cole slaw and that is exactly what we received (two of them, one large side and one jumbo ice brick of cole slaw)… I left two stars because the chicken was dank but get your veggies elsewhere I guess…

My husband & I eat at this location at least once a week. Occasionally, a server throws a plate together too quickly and you’re shorted on an item. I’ve complained about this several times and when shown the problem, the staff immediately and without question, make up a new plate, or add in extra of the item. I don’t deliberately complain, but it’s your money. This location makes good for their error!
