Beautiful waterfront, friendly campers and owners. Its has mom and pop feel to it which I appreciate. If you are looking for a commercialized campground like Sun RV this might be the place for you. Here you will get natures beauty with full hookups and a nice food pavilion. The main attraction is definitely the clean lake and the views! Multiple points of entry to the lake and new docks.

My husband and I stayed there for two months and were here through seasons end Sep 28th. Paid $4500 to stay there. Had to leave Sep 28. Went back to visit our friend and his dog who are still staying there. Owners called the Hancock County Sheriff Dept on us because we visited unannounced. After my husband washed the owners nasty dirty camper, was dirtiest camper in the whole campground, then delivered home baked lasagna to them..... REALLY.....DO NOT STAY HERE...CROOKS

This campground impressed us with its clean cabin, clean restrooms, friendly staff and sense of community. Even though we only stayed three nights, everyone welcomed us and the staff were flexible and accommodating. (We checked in late, ran out of firewood, left a towel behind, etc. And there was a solution for everything). We normally prefer more secluded camping, but Balsam Cove was quiet at night and upbeat during the day and we really enjoyed our stay.

We had an awesome camping experience, can't wait to go back! We went in August 2020, the water was beautiful and super warm.

We do have a military/First responder annual event. First weekend after Labor day. Free and heavily discounted sites for military, police, fire, ems. We don't discriminate against non-military families by raising prices enough to accommodate discounts for particular groups of people. We fairly and honestly charge everyone the same reasonable price.
