Well I called before I got there to see if my insurance was accepted and how much my out of pocket would be. I was told they didn’t know yet. When I get there the lady at the front says you haven’t met your deductible so it’ll be $155 with your insurance and a regular visit is $150. So I said well take off the insurance and save me $5. They knew that before I got there just wanted me to go in and pay the high amount. Since it was late in the day I couldn’t call our Dr and take my child so I paid the amount. Just a heads up for anyone not on Medicaid.

If my dog was dying i wouldn’t bring them here. They told me they were behind there was a small wait, didn’t know small meant 1hr for an asthmatic 5 yr old with chest tightness & wheezing. Thank God i have sense enough to call his pediatricians office & go back over protocol while sitting in THEIR parking lot. I asked her ONE question: what do they consider an emergent situation, or what is their protocol for level of priority. The conversation went from a concerned parent to the front “nurse” playing the blame game. Thank GOD I’m in healthcare myself for 9 years or my kid would probably not so well right now. Do your self and your kids a service & just go to COOKS OR THE ER !!! I can’t believe she hung up in my face when i asked her what is the level of priority & if chest tightness & wheezing in a 5 yr old was not a concern. This place is a joke & i WILL BE REPORTING HER TO THE TEXAS BOARD OF NURSING. Runnnn don’t walk! Mind you, myself and 2 other families were told to sit OUTSIDE not in the waiting area. JPS may be Better for those with no insurance. I’m sure I’m not the first complaint
