I'd really go more like four and a half. We're not a skiing family, but this place was great for our kids to go to and have a fun, easy, and safe time. Very convenient from Chelan.

Good beginner hill close to Chelan with rope tows, Poma lift, and a fun tubing area. Helpful staff. Lodge with basic food service & non-alcoholic beverages. Ski & snowboard lessons & rentals available.

Honestly, there was nothing to pay for... too expensive for what they offer. Snowboarding is good for the beginner, but pricey.

Echo valley is for down hill skiing and Echo Ridge is for xc skiing
Parking during ski season is free. Please don't confuse echo valley with echo ridge. Echo ridge does have a fee for parking. I think it is 10.00 per person during the ski season. During the off season there is no parking at echo valley and echo ridge is free
