I love this little local place. Whenever I feel like having a little of something sweet I drop by there for ice cream. Always clean. Ice cream is quite good. Pleasant staff.

I’ve ordered several times from Something Sweet. My kids are bubble tea aficionados and we try new places weekly. They’ve enjoyed Something Sweet in the past, the last time we went a few days ago we ordered 3 teas, 2 Taro and 1 Caramel. The caramel was good according to my son. My 8 yr old and I ordered Taro flavour and it was completely inedible. It was clumpy, grainy, sour and the Color was like a grey-lavender mixed with brown (the boba). It had foamy particles at the top as well. I went and spoke to the person who made our drinks and they made new ones and they came out the exact same way. It was visible to us all that there was a problem. The male and female worker decided to tell me that this is a “factory” problem with their taro powder. They never said sorry, never offered another (maybe a flavour change) and they certainly didn’t offer my money back. After spending $19 on 3 drinks - 2 of which were inedible I will not return. My children and I deserve better! I’ve not experienced that anywhere else I’ve ever went.I’m including a picture of my drink and you can ZOOM in and see the grossness.
