The bell tower is located across the street from the church and has a nice little garden right on the shore of inner bay --- you will see the boats and the drawbridge in operation.

Gorgeous little chapel overlooking the Eel Pond, on the quiet, residential side of Woods Hole. It evokes a peaceful quiet in the middle of a busy, working research community.

when did St Joseph's close. I was married in that church in June of 1969

Per their website, they formally closed in 2013, but the parish is now folded in st. Elizabeth seton and the chapel is still open in spring and summer. I found them with a quick web search for st. Josephs woods hole and the sites returned offer more information. Woods Hole gave me some of my most cherished memories and it sounds like that is true for many others, including you.

Is this a Roman Catholic Church? I am not sure if you are open during the off season/summer months. I am looking for your mass schedule for February 2018 @ St. Joseph Church, please
