Finding a safe and vibrant senior living for my godmother was emotional and a bit daunting. How do we know what the right place looks like? My 84 year old godmother said, “Smiles” - that’s what she was looking for. Luckily, we had Gail Maimon at Brightview who guided us through the process with lots of energy, patience and humor. And continues to be caring and supportive. We visited a number times, and each time it was love at first sight for my godmother, meeting friendly, smiling residents and walking through the beautiful facilities. Now, my godmother is at Brightview assisted living for almost 4 months, and she seems happy and engaged. I know she is safe and has a pleasant home environment. I’m able to visit her frequently, and each time, I meet friendly, smiling residents and staff!

Poor care, my mother was neglected, I also have audio recordings of verbal/ physical abuse. Would not recommend to no one. Directors and facility administrators never return emails with any concerns me and my siblings have raised to them. I would not even leave them in care of my neighbors dog!! Is there any way to rate less than 1star??

I had stopped by Brightview, Sayville on a chance that it may be something that would fit my mother. She had become so isolated since covid started. Her memory was not what it was before covid. When I stopped by and spoke with Gail, I felt this was someplace that my mom would thrive and really appreciate. The Brightview staff members are so helpful and supportive. My mom has been there for a couple of weeks now and already I can see a difference. She is participating in some of the group games and loves happy hour! Brightview has really taken a load off my shoulders. They are giving my mom everything she needs.
