Cool place with a nice open floor plan for seating, a medium-sized full bar, and plenty of seating. We got the fajitas and we were thrilled with the taste. It was more than enough for my wife and I to share. We only wish that there was a little more meat on the plate. We ordered the three-meat trio and we got 70% vegetables with shrimp, chicken, and steak on top. But everything tasted really good…no complaints there. Very tasty. Our aunt got a specialty cocktail and said that it was made way too sweet for her. Our uncle tasted it and agreed, saying it was really not made well. Although we tried to tell our aunt to let a waitress know, she opted not to, which I know is her decision so ultimately…it is what it is in that aspect. We don’t blame the restaurant. We saw their short-staffed sign up front so we understand that sometimes things can happen. Overall, I have to say, it was a good experience and I would definitely eat here again if someone said they wanted to meet for lunch or dinner. Great chips and dip. Good guacamole too.

Fresh, Delicious Mexican Food….EXCELLENT!!! Some of the best Mexican Food I have had in a long time. Look at our fajitas picture….lots of steak not just a few strips So GOOD….Don’t miss it. FAST SERVICE.

Nice dinner, great atmosphere. Food fresh and delivered in a timely fashion. Fajitas were delicious. Lots to take hone. Queso was yummy. Mango margarita was kinda slimy and Bloody Mary was okay. Lots of outdoor seating. Street parking.

Wow this was some great Mexican food. Our group was hungry after touring the village and after a short wait we were taken care of by The Cantina's very attentive staff. Once we ordered we barely got to enjoy the tasty chips and salsa before our food came out; 5 minutes flat. Everyone loved their meals and though it was a bit pricier than other comparable establishments we enjoyed it nonetheless.

We are happy to provide carry out, as well as large catering orders (with 24 hour notice), orders off menu are typically available for pick up at the bar area between 10 and 20 minutes after you phone it in.
We offer lots of outdoor, dog friendly, socially distanced dining. We even have serapes (blankets) so you can enjoy Asheville’s cooler fall evenings.

Thanks for the question, we love our furry friends all year long, but muni laws require them on patios unless service animal. We are able to accommodate year around and will even provide a serape if you or your furry friend isn’t dressed for the elements.

I avoid gluten and dairy. Their salads are wonderful, with salmon, shrimp, or chicken. Just ask them to hold any ingredients you can't tolerate... They're very accommodating!
