If you are looking for peace and quiet, it's the perfect spot We spotted deers and were told there were cubs and a mama bear in the area! Beautiful house, big room, everything was super clean, the small town is nice and has everything you need. Host gave us tons of advice on where to eat, what to do and was very friendly !

My wife and I have read the mixed reviews and decided to still give it a shot, turned out to be the best decision we made Now for the host, Shelly, I truly don't understand why people are complaining about such a nice host, but I can only assume that they're the Karen type. Here's the thing, the host has the best value for money in maybe the whole US, and doesn't want to deal with the annoying guests. House rules are simple, arrive and leave within check in/out time, don't cook, smoke or party and be a decent human being. The accomodation itself is amazing, the house was super clean, smells very good and it's almost never fully booked (we were lucky to have the whole floor for ourselves) It's located on a dead end of a non paved road (quietness and wilderness assured) plenty of parking.. The town is lovely, friendly people with decent restaurants and amazing scenery all around

Warm, bucolic property overlooking a beautiful valley and lake, conveniently located near Mount Snow. Private rooms and hostel beds on offer are a great value, especially for the area. Shelley is a very thoughtful, straightforward host.

Me and my family stayed there and we had an awesome experience there. Shelly's was so nice and we felt so comfortable. Her House is absolutely beautiful. We definitely will be back in the future
