Thank u for this services and tools. I’m very thankful specially with Johanna Toomey who was very professional and helpful in my job search. I went there to take one of resume workshops that I found for July 12. I thought it was in person because when I registered I found that location, time and address. I registered on workforce1 because more than 10 years ago I found this services very helpful. Now, it was the perfect time to go to do my job search with workforce1. I registered online, I was looking how to start to use this services. After submit my personal information, I knew that I was going to need to update my resume. I found the workshop and I decided to take it before to upload it. That was my reason to take the workshop to have a professional resume that I never used here in US. I used it only in my native country. When I went to take the workshop they told me that it was online and for young people and I should go for a location for adults. Thanks god, Johanna was there, she really help me. She did my resume in an amazing 1 to 1 workshop, using the time that was for the online workshop. After that, I went with Milton to find some jobs. I got 2 appointments. The 1st appointment for 2 days after. That day, I went through the process with the company recruitment team. Few hours later, I was hired as customer service associate with an important company. That was possible because of the support of workforce1, but specially to Johanna who took her role as career advisor beyond my expectations. She is really a nice person, very profesional, willing to help and support. Again thanks to all the people in workforce 1 west farms and specially to Johanna who put me in the right path to find a better job for me. Since, I came to US, I knew about the services of workforce1, because of my language skills and documents I was not able to take advantage of this services, but now that I’m able, I found this resources very helpful, so use it and don’t hesitate to take time to improve your resume, skills take workshops and get the assistant in the job search. I was afraid to go for interviews for many reasons as language skills, the interview process, how different is the process from my country. Since 20 years, I did not went to a professional interview process, I know that everything has changed a lot since those years, specially talking about tech. That was something that get me nervous. Finally, I did It with their support, the workshops and the decision to get a better job and make my way here in US.

Very disorganized workforce 1. No compassion, heartless and cold person I dealt with, a Johanna Toomey. They never pick up their phones. Told me to cheat on my application. She seemed exhausted and sigh heavily at every tech issue and way of my application. Only care about numbers. The more numbers they recruit, the more funding they get. Please avoid at any cost.
