Terrible service. Most convenient bank, liars. Waited 15 minutes before someone could even talk to me. All i needed is to cash a check. Moving my business out of this bank. Not convenient whatsoever

All they require is identification and they will need you to deposit a small amount of money to make the account legitimate. Usually no more than $50.

How much money do you need to start a checking account ?

Most banks only require no less than $50 to open account. Some as low as $10. However I believe TD is $100.
