We had family visiting from Los Angeles and booked the Full Day Canyon trip. We talked about the rapids and skill level before booking but the reality didn’t fully sink in for our guests until they saw the river. Our guide, Howard, was great at putting every one at ease. He was clearly a skilled rafter but also very personable and sincere. In fact, all of the staff at Bear Valley were super nice. We can’t wait to go again!

Diana, we have splash jackets, wetsuit jackets, and wetsuits that are provided with our trips when necessary. Typically these are needed in Spring, cooler days, and later in the season. Thanks!
We provide all necessary equipment, all you have to do is show up ready to get wet!! Our half day trips are about 8 miles or 3 hours in length and our full day trips are about 12-13 miles and are from 9:30am to 4pm typically.
