UPDATED WITH RESPONSE BACK TO THE OWNER. PLEASE SEE THE ORIGINAL REVIEW THAT I WROTE YESTERDAY. I never said anything negative about Karla. Let me clarify, as you seem to have missed the whole meaning behind my review. I am upset at the lack of professionalism by your receptionist. It was YOUR receptionist that told me that SOMEONE modified my July 30th hair appointment to August 6th, without notice, back in April. You are calling me a liar and that is not the case. I do not enjoy taking the time to write negative reviews on my time off from work. I am simply expressing my feelings about the unprofessional way my appointment was changed without notice. I am also writing to warn your clients about making future hair appointments, as mine was changed without permission. I had taken time off work to come down the weekend of July 30th and had the appointment date written on my fridge with sticky notes for the last 6 months. In addition to your receptionist modifying my appointment – or as you say the computer modified- I was never notified. If Karla was unavailable, I am more than understanding as we all have our own lives and busy schedules. However, I am frustrated at the lack of professionalism in regards to NOT getting any sort of communication regarding my appointment from anyone on your team. I kept getting the response that Karla was going to contact me when she came into work the next day. Hence why I am writing this negative review. It is NOT Karla’s fault whatsoever because she is not aware of what is going on. I never once said that I expect Karla to be accessible 24/7. Rather, I expect your receptionist to know when Karla is working instead of giving me a runaround and telling me that Karla will return the following day. It makes me wonder if the receptionist really doesn’t know her schedule or her availability. Based on your other reviews it looks like you have had many issues with your receptionist. I suggest you conduct an internal investigation with your team in regards to this matter. It doesn’t feel good to receive a response that is pointing the blame back on their clients. I stand firm that the alleged computer date of August 6th has nothing to do with me. Since it is an error on your part, it would behoove you to own your mistake and to make things right, which is NOT what your salon has done with me. The lack of professionalism by your receptionist and with customer service is beyond disheartening considering you have been in the industry for 19 plus years with your amazing team. I never stated that you all weren’t amazing but after this nightmare of an experience with your business, I am left feeling more disrespected and lied to. I didn’t even make it to an appointment and THAT speaks volumes!

I am from Columbus, GA and I have been following one of the hair stylist, Karla, on Instagram for quite some time. I LOVE her work and I think she does a phenomenal job with balayage. I wanted her to color my hair for my upcoming wedding and I was willing to drive 6 hours to go see her. I booked a hair coloring appointment back in early February with Karla for my upcoming wedding. The earliest I could get in to see her was July 30th. Well I called a couple weeks before my appointment to confirm my upcoming appointment on the 30th of July and they didn't have me on the calendar. I thought for sure this had to be a mistake. The receptionist told me that someone moved my appointment date back in April to the first week in August. I told her that no one called me to notify me of this change and I can't come that week. I informed the receptionist that I am not from there and that I would be driving six hours to go see her. The receptionist then told me that she would contact Karla because she was out of town and that she would get back to me ASAP. Two days go by and I don't hear anything so I called the salon and the receptionist apologizes for not calling me back. She informs me that Karla is aware of the situation and will be back in the salon the next day and that she would contact me. I then wait two more days and I don't hear from anyone. I called the salon again and they said that Karla will be back tomorrow and that she would call me to figure something out. I told the receptionist this is the same thing you all told me the last time I called. At this point I am frustrated and highly upset at how unprofessional the receptionist is and the lack of communication with their clients. I told the receptionist not to bother and to cancel my appointment. I am not going to risk driving 6 hours to be told my appointment has been changed or Karla isn't working. For Karla to do such amazing work, I am surprised that she works at a salon with receptionists who do not inform their clients about when they change their hair appointments or call them back when they say they are going to call ASAP. This type of behavior is unprofessional and is simply poor business.

Not sure what you mean by exotic. If you mean bright, wild colors, then yes they do. You just have to ask for the right person. There are several.
