The White House Around the corner from McPherson Square Metro station. It's a five minute walk.

Will McPherson Sta. be closed this weekend (Aug 24-26) due to construction? Please only reply if you are certain of your answer.

Yes according to WMATA website McPherson Square will be closed this weekend, Sat. Aug 25 and Sun. Aug 26th. Farragut North on the Red Line is a relatively short walk from McPherson Square, you may wish to use that as an alternative. Good luck and happy travels!
