Great items for sale. T-shirts, hats, t-shirt and hat sets. Lots of other trinkets. All with the hardest race, museum history and Goshen.

My daughter's are the one into horses I don't know who that is but went to the museum and it was actually very educational to me and found out alot about horses that i didn't know and seeing all those old stuff that used to race and to clean up after there horses and all those race horse they were so cool get place to visit

I'have learned that my grandfather, Gustav Preukschat, lived in Goshen, New York. (He died in 1954.) I've always been told he was a "horse doctor" and wonder whether the Museum might have any information on whether he worked for the track. Thank you

Gustav Preukschat does not appear in the Harness Racing Museum's archives. I also checked the Social Security Death Index and FindAGrave, but did not find his name.

Was Agnes Gahagan a curator of the Museum?

Hi Peter, yes Agnes was the first director of the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame. During her tenure, 1951-1971, the museum was called Hall of Fame if the Trotter. You can give me (Janet) a call if you want more information.
