The drive belt on my John Deere needed to be replaced, I called the Mower Shop for this repair. It was the ONLY service to be performed. Upon my first mow after receiving my mower back, I had a four to five inch stripe down the middle of each run. I knew immediately the blades had been altered. I removed the blades and marked the position of them. RT, LT for right top and left top. I noticed they were sharpened on the both sides. I had the mower looked at again by another company in Pikeville. From my markings they confirmed the blades were put on in the completely wrong direction (again, the Mower Shop was not supposed to do anything with the blades). I spoke with Carl at the Mower Shop about the situation and was told by him he would order me new blades. I have not heard back from him since the statement/conversation. Nor I suspect that I will. Their shoddy work cost me an additional $80.00 to have it corrected. Only positive, the drive belt work was OK. One final observation.... the tractor cowling is imprinted with the correct placement of the blades which would have been seen with the repair to the drive belt. Consider yourself forewarned.

This place is a joke. First thing you see is a sign "Masks optional". Go in with a mask and guy says take it off. Covid is still much very real and he of course was being rude about it. Not political but first thing you see when Pulling up is a sign that says "Trump Country". Certain kinds definitely not welcome. He was not interested in taking our business.
