When we got to the motel our first issue was the room they put us in was not handicap assailable from the parking lot, you had to unload at the front and go to the room and then park around back in the parking lot. Second and third problema we're the ice machine didn't work and neither did the drink machine. The room is nice but not for the price we paid. When you ask for a handicap assailable room they don't have any. The bed was too high for my husband to get on so he ended up sleeping in his wheelchair. The room didn't get cool with the a/c unit on.

I did like the privacy, that’s the only thing. 1st when I locked the key in the room by mistake terrible customer care the lady walked away saying she did not know who I was. Let that go found the other room key in the car under the seat. Then the second day I asked for some clean towels, the housekeeper looked at me like she ain’t know what I was saying. Nobody came to clean up the room and the room was full of mold.

Positive: Check in was swift and the staff friendly. Clean bed and bathroom. Room very old with rotting wood. The room had smoke smell which made us look forward to morning to get out.

The reason for my stay was due to my partner being sent to duke for medical reasons. I stayed in a hotel closer to the hospital the first night and it was so awful I packed my bags and left at 3am in the morning. When I arrived here, Camille was simply amazing. She was extremely helpful with anything I needed as small as getting coffee to making sure I had a breakfast bag and working with me on adding nights day by day due to not knowing how long my stay would be. She truly is an amazing employee. Her customer service skills are very helpful and knowledgeable and her demeanor is very welcoming and endearing. I could'nt of asked for a better place to stay due to her disposition through this hard time.
