Hilton Durham near Duke University

This was a great place to stay. I would say one of my top choices in Durham, NC. The staff are warm and friendly. My room 438 had an awesome view so I left the window opened. I fell asleep easily and everything was peaceful. The room gave me an upscale feel but still comfy. I will be back to stay eat and enjoy the Hilton life aka the good life.

Traveling The World

Not a great experience for a full service Hilton, so many things were wrong, considering I am a diamond member. Front desk staff was excellent, and friendly. Easy check in. The room had no water bottles, we had to purchase them. Hotel was fully booked and only one, extremely slow elevator. Ridiculous. The room was not cleaned the first day, I am sure housekeeping may have been overwhelmed. Regardless, not a place I would go again, also considering the price.

Beware…. Don’t do it - The rooms are humid even with the AC… there is a condensation issue. The carpet feels moist, blankets moist, my books were wrapping after a day here. The room was subpar compared to the cost. It was not cleaned well. No microwave, the refrigerator would not get colder than 46 degrees. The tile on the floor was damaged. The room has a mildew odor. There is no working vent in the bathroom. The ice machine on the 3rd floor does not work. I can’t believe this is happening at a Hilton hotel.

The Beyhive Report

Stayed here out of town for four nights. It was super cold outside and we all had our own thermostat that had my room (at least) cozy to my comfort. The beds were super soft and comfortable, the shower was hot and easy accessible, and the room was clean! The only thing I wish my room had was a microwave. This front desk associates were friendly and helpful with the check-in’s and out. Nothing bad to say for my first time here. I really don’t want to leave haha!
