Last year the most important person in my life died and I was traumatized… Columbia Gardens helped me bury him and the experience I had with them was so worth sharing …Katherine took me by the hand and helped me through this very very difficult process …her compassion and her caring and her knowledge and I professionalism are remarkable …I also met other staff members such as Daun ,the president, and everyone I met was truly caring and made me feel like they really wanted to help me with all of their services and anything I needed …the grounds are truly beautiful and the care you receive from the staff is,as I said , remarkable …they are caring ,compassionate and very very real about what they do … how grateful I am to have met them and have them care for me

what a beautiful cemetery , my son is laid to rest here, he passed 9/26/92, he was 3 years old and when we came here at the time to make funeral arrangements the people here were wonderful and very caring and made me feel at ease even tho i was a wreck .. thank you so much for everything at that time, cant believe its been almost 30 years. his birthday is coming up 5/24/89 i will be making the trip up there from culpeper, va to put some flowers down for my beautiful baby boy!!! God bless to all those who have a lost a loved one !!!

Our family recently gathered at Columbia Gardens Cemetery to hold a Celebration of Life service for our Mom (delayed a year because of COVID). After the service, we arranged to have her and Dad's ashes interred in the Cremation Garden, followed by a catered luncheon. This was not an easy task because we have a large family and the entire arrangements were planned long-distance. Katherine was so wonderful to work with. She helped guide us through the planning of the event - everything from handling the paperwork, to selecting a cremation monument (via Facetime), to recommendations for musicians, caterers and florists - and was very responsive to our follow-up requests and questions. It was a special day for our family, and Katherine and her staff did an amazing job managing the activities so our family could focus on a memorable tribute to our parents. The cemetery is absolutely beautiful and serene - a perfect final resting place for Mom and Dad.
