I hate to disagree with all the great reviews but I’ve tried the Breadsmith several times and find that their bread has no flavor. I’m from New York and their bread nowhere compares with what I know to be good tasting bread. Not sure if maybe they’re not using enough salt or not enough proofing. The sourdough I tried had none of the sour twang I’m used to in sourdough. I got a French loaf recently and no bread flavor at all. Put some in the toaster for several minutes and it never turned golden. I have found more flavorful and crusty bread at Lidl’s. But my hunt for delicious bread here in NC continues. Oh but I did get a sample of their almond poppy seed pound cake - delicious!

What a fabulous and delicious bakery tucked away in Mayfaire Town Center. Muffin, scones, Coffee Cake and FRESH BREAD, amongst other delights. I will keep coming back and buying my bread here along with some other treats!!!

Great store to pick up flavorful breads. Got the apple pie bread and nouvelle brioche; delicious. They will even cut them for you.

Great selection of breads and pastries. They sell out of their pastries and cookies pretty fast! I’ve tried cranberry orange scone and it was delicious. Check their menu as they have daily specials.

Hello Phil, We make rye bread every day of the week. Monday and Thursday we do our Russian Rye which is made with molasses which gives it the darker color and slight sweetness. Tuesday and Friday we do our Traditional Rye and on Wednesday and Saturday we do our New York Style Rye. We hope you have been able to get in and get some rye bread!!
