I have found all the Clerks to be exceptionally kind, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful - especially Kurt. I am not a lawyer. The Frederick County Circuit Court's Office has a lot of patience and courtesy to all: lawyers and non-lawyers. Two of the 3 reasons why I did a change of venue from the Winchester City Circuit Court, to Frederick County Circuit Court, were due to the polar opposite way in which I was treated, and fairly large error by one of the Clerks in the WCCC Office. No one is perfect, but the Clerk who made the mistake didn't even apologize.

Michelle was awesome is the clerks office. I couldn't have asked for better help. Wish there were more folks like her out here.

$100 dollor fine for trying to take my 10 hour break and sleep, inside the rest area, not blocking anyone, not in a parking spot. No other place to park for miles and out of drive time, per DoT regulations. I drove all through covid, was in law enforcement myself, and officer discretion needs to be applied in some situations. How is this justice? How is this even reasonable or logical. As a matter of fact, the officer could've been a good human and ask me to move forward, into a parking spot, because my break was over when he woke me up to give me the ticket. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.
