Great lessons but they no longer offer public trail rides.

When my family and I went to trail ride it was to celebrate my sons birthday. We were very eager and looking forward to this day. Not even 5 minutes into the ride one of the staff members that was guiding us was thrown from her horse. Fortunately she wasn’t badly hurt but we did have to wait there for about 15 minutes for help to arrive. Upon arrival we then waited for her to be escorted off the trail. Then it was about to rain but the owner insisted we continue the trail. I refused, that’s dangerous and what just happened didn’t make the kids feel safe. The whole situation was handled terribly. The owner was upset that we didn’t continue the trail and before we even made it back, not even 5 minutes out, it poured down raining on us. We were totally wet! Smh So then my kids and I went to sit in the car because they were tending to the injured staff member, I can understand that. Well, NOBODY came to tend to us. We sat for 30 minutes waiting. I finally ran out to find someone in the rain and was told that tending to her is more important so call another day to follow up. I kept calling and finally was told she could schedule me out in a few months. What?! So then I asked for a full refund and she insisted she still had to pay her staff so she wouldn’t do it. I had to go over her and report her so she then attempted to give me some, not even half. Then she offered half. I finally got back most of it but I should have been fully refunded. Ridiculous!! I will not be returning! I’d also like to mention that their equipment is filthy. The hats were nasty and we had to wear them. I am surprised we didn’t have bugs in our hair afterwards. Ride at your own risk, the owner doesn’t care about anybody but herself.

Our trail ride was an absolute joy. You can tell that Anita (the owner) and Morgan (our trail guide) are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about horses. The trail was beautiful and serene. We were lucky enough to pass by a few deer on the way. My friend and I were extremely impressed with our experience, and hopefully will return soon for lessons!

The experience at beech grove farm was one I will never forget. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the farm was beautiful. An overall fantastic experience I would gladly love to do again.
