I dropped a guitar off for repairs and was given an estimate for a 2-3 week fix. After numerous attempts to get status updates, I was told a part had to be ordered. This went on for about 6 months. That sounds absurd but it's absolutely true. Each time I called I was told "oh, it should be a week or so." I'll never know if guitar center bothered to even order the part, or if the manufacturer truly stopped making it, but in either case I was NEVER proactively contacted by a manager, tech, or anyone about my order status. Their customer service is truly awful and I'd highly recommend going elsewhere. Seriously. Don't. That's my advice.

They are! They have some rules requiring you to ask for more supervision so they can sanitize the guitars you touch. Ask for help, and you'll get what you need.
