Update 9/28/2023: Still only have one cashier lane open. I didnt even bother to pay that much for groceries and wait 15-20 minutes to check put. Went to Harris Teeter today 8/8. Gathered all my groceries (half cart full) and went to check out and surprise 1 aisle open and 15 people waiting at self checkout. The only aisle opened had 7 people with full carts waiting. In anger, I abandoned my cart and walked out. I am paying $19 a pound for ribeye, and they only have 1 aisle opened!!??? I will never darken this places door again. Prices are skyrocketing and only 1 aisle is open? My recommendation, if you like high prices and no asiles opened head to Safeway, Giant, or Harris Teeter. I know Food Lions selection isn't as good as Harris Teeter, but Food Lion never has a problem with aisles open and they have better prices. I am sickened by how inept management is here

On Sunday 9/18/2022 I went to Harris teeter at 12745 Galveston Ct manasass va. Store # 316 around 2.10 pm. I went to the customer service and asked for a rain check for Harris teeter brand sugar 4lb pack. Ms Paterson was about to handed over the rain check when she asked me if I’m a evic customer. I told her yes and I showed her the emails I’m receiving from Harris teeter. But she don’t believe me. She ask me my phone number , I gave her that too. Still she was not still satisfied. Then she went to a different room to check my phone number and came back informing me that yes I’m an eVIC customer. My question is why she could not believe me. Is it because of my skin color or my race? Then I asked her to call a manager whose name was Lamont. I informed him about the matter. He apologized, but the experience was still humiliating.
