Called and asked if they had certain issues of a comic book run. The Guy had no clue what he had for inventory nor seemed to care and said 5-10$ per issue, until I showed interest . Once I went to check out, he individually checked 13 books prices on eBay which took 15-20 min and up charged around 30$ More than what eBay’s last sold was on the same books. I asked him about that and his response was “if we go on last sold, how are the prices supposed to go up” I was so frustrated with that statement and the fact that he wasted all that time just to over charge me, that it was enough for me to never shop there again. Save yourself the time and go to a separate place that won’t price gouge you.

Not greeted not asked if we needed help not told goodbye. Won't waste my money here. Huge comic book store down the way. Extremely friendly staff and appreciative that we were spending money there.

We stopped by here while exploring Railroad Square. It is a tight space with so much cool, fun stuff to see. We explored for about 20 minutes and didn’t want to leave the store. If you take your Littles with you, beware that some of the figures and life-size statues are a bit intimidating (like the walking dead teddy bear girl zombie). But we really did love it all and could have easily spent several hours just looking and exploring. Prices were reasonable and we left with two comics and 3 action figures. Definitely recommend stopping by!

The Cosmic Cat can do appraisals on comic book collections, but we only suggest that for insurance purposes. The best way to determine value is to look up the comic title and issue number on eBay to see what people are selling the comic for. Of course condition of the comics is taken into consideration. If you are looking to sell your comics, it is best to message us a few photographs of generally what you have. We can let you know if we may be interested. You are welcome to bring to the store up to a few boxes for us to look through. If you have more than several boxes, make sure you contact us first.
The Cosmic Cat sometimes will purchase comics. It really all depends on what you have. You will need to call the store or bring the books in for us to look at. If we have no interest, we can possibly send you to other possibilities.
The Cosmic Cat will consider collections of comic books, trade paperbacks and graphic novels to purchase. If we are not interested, we can offer suggestions of other stores in the area or for extremely valuable comics, online auction services who specialize in high dollar books.
