I was just told about Community Hospice for my father and I've never in my life felt more at ease in the past few days than I have in the past 15 years. I'm still in shock over the amount of care that Community Hospice offers and provides. Hi Kathleen, great question. The short answer is yes. The plan requires a referral from the PCP with authorization before we can schedule palliative care.
