I purchased a Jacuzzi salt chlorinator system from Leslie's on 07/15/21 for $1,400 and it has only produced very low levels of chlorine for my pool. After ensuring my pool had the proper chemicals, I ran the chlorinator on boost for 72 hours and the chlorine levels only measured .15 PPM. I spoke with Deb, the manager of Leslie's in York, and she said this is normal and we still need to shock our pool weekly. This is ridiculous. I have owned salt chlorinators for over 15 years and have never had to regularly shock my pool. I escalated the issue by calling the Leslie corporate number and they sent a tech to check the machine. The tech agreed that we should not have to shock the pool weekly. They also took a water sample. Deb called me the next day and the said the chlorinator was working fine but my nitrates levels are very high (45 PPM) and that is destroying my chlorine. They said I would need to drain most of the pool and refill it to correct the issue. I took a water sample to another pool store in my area and the nitrates tested at zero. I then purchased a home water test and found the nitrates at 5 PPM which is very low. The next day I took a sample back to Leslie's and they tested the nitrates and the level showed as 5 PPM. Leslie has repeatedly refused to return this faulty product. They do not stand by their product and want me to waste time and money by unnecessarily having me empty and refill my pool as well as purchasing additional chemicals that wouldn't be needed if the unit was working properly. I find the way they handled this issue to be underhanded and I will never give them my business again.

They sell everything you need for a pool. Best time to go is May and June to purchase. They sell out fast or else you go online.
I would call them to confirm the services offered
They might. Not sure but u can save your self a ton of money buy DIY u can get a sump pump n use your garden hose then get in with some old towels n wipe it. I would recommend you use a water delivery company to fill your pool real fast. U could use your garden hose if you choose but for a 24ft above pool it will take you 3 days to fill that is with shutting off your hose at night. If you use your hose though call your township office n tell them you are filling your pool and then they won't charge u for sewer only out going water. That would be your cheapest route. Hope this helps. Other wise Google pool service companies near your you n start calling and asking questions
