My car was broken in to non emergency nothing was stolen but couldn't get a hold of the dept so I couldn't make a report due to they can't be contacted and not calling 911 for something that could be taking care of without making a scene for something so basic.

If you have young children about preteen to older teens I would say don't move to Belen. It's actually not a bad place to retire in but for youngsters it can be anywhere from boring to not safe
All you have to do is call the valencia county jail and hit one (1) for records. When someone answers ask if they have this person in custody and what his charges are. They will tell you. You dont have to be family to call
