I needed compression knee highs and compression stocking per doctors orders. After a walk-in Appt, I was to receive a call back within a week to inform me of when those items would be in stock(I needed a custom fit). I’ve called back twice to check on status (every two weeks) and every time I called, they took a message and have yet to return my call. Two months later, I’ve lost trust in their ability to properly accommodate my needs and have thus gone elsewhere. And within two weeks the other location has already provided the items needed. It’s rude and not customer service friendly when you don’t give updates on order status and not return calls.

All of the staff members at ACME have gone out of their way to accommodate my mother's and my needs. They have been VERY patient and flexible with both of us! They answered all of my mother's MANY and repeated questions. They called me directly to duplicate all the calls they made to my mother. ACME Medical Supplies also did a great job protecting our privacy. This is not a given across the industry; other health care suppliers and facilities don't always protect their client's privacy, despite the standard mandated privacy policies. Acme medical supply was chosen by the nursing home to deliver a hospital bed to my house 2 weeks before being discharged. They delivered the bed 5 hours after I was discharged from the nursing home. This is after they promised the bed would be delivered well before I came home. Then the bed was the cheapest model bed I had ever seen it was only 76”long and I am 6’3” tall. Instead of getting me a new bed it took them 2 days to get a bed extension when all they needed to do was get me a 80”long bed. After a year the motor went up and took another 2 days to replace the motor. Then again 14 months later the motor burnt up again this time I called them and they said they don’t have the contract with Medicare to supply beds anymore. I called Medicare and they said it was still acme responsibility to fix the bed or provide me with the company who took over the contract because I wasn’t eligible for a new bed yet. After going round and round with Acme and getting no where I ordered a motor online and had friends put it in. When you call Acme you talk to people that barely speak English and they are rude and not knowledgeable. I would never recommend Acme to anyone and if it let me give 0 stars that’s what they would have gotten.
