Literally the worst department to get in contact with. They will give you the run around constantly.

Thank you to the officer who answered my call about a possible injured goose in Target parking. He tried to catch the goose who would not fly, at first. Then the goose flew to the roof. Hopefully he/she will be safe.

My sons body was abused and neglected at a funeral home in the area. Current I’m involved in a lawsuit. However when seeking criminal charges against the funeral home, a detective with this department chose to ignore PA law and not charge the offenders with abuse of an infant corpse. This detective claimed that a contract he has never seen, that doesn’t exist, and that the funeral home refuses to produce, supersedes PA and federal law. Weather it be from conflict of interests or laziness, the inaction of the detective was appalling and down right disgusting. He has receive before and after photos of an abused infant corpse from the medical examiner as well as the a second funeral home and he has received cooler logs proving the decomposition came from the first funeral home. Needless to say the photos are very graphic as well as horrific. Still the detective chose to not charge the offenders with the arrest-able offense. This is a department not interesting in justice but in revenue generating. It’s not financially beneficial for them to arrest creepy funeral directors for abusing corpses, especially a funeral home that provides services for municipal workers, so they simply don’t enforce the law. In fact, they are actively protecting them from from arrest.
