If I could rate them a zero I would! This is the worst place to get a car rental! First of all don’t get the insurance they offer for the car! They lied and basically stole money from us! And now I got another charge for something that doesn’t even make sense!!!!!!!! I called customer service and they are literally no help! They are a bunch of money grabbing people! They don’t care what so ever for their customers and I even asked for a report of all the cost and charges they were taking out from my bank account and they never sent it to me! Even tho they said they would! So don’t come here it’s not worth it! You will end up spending 3x times the amount they are charging you!!! Save your money!

Ok first thing first, my 5 star review is not for Hertz it is for a wonderful woman who is employed by Hertz rental cars. Her name is Nicole and she works at the Nova location in Daytona beach Florida. She is an amazing woman who is willing to go above and beyond for someone who is not having the best experience with the company she works for. I needed a certain type of vehicle to take place of mine that was destroyed by a careless driver. I was told to pick up my rental from that location and was assured that they had the exact vehicle I had to have for work purposes . Once I got there she was happy and welcoming, and greeted me with a smile on her face. I gave her my name and claim number,when she handed my the paperwork to sign I noticed that it said I was getting a Toyota Camry instead of the truck I had reserved. I asked her about it and she replied back that they didn't even have a truck on the primises and wouldn't for a few days. Then I told her my situation and how I had a reservation for a truck at this location and I was dropped off via Uber and how far I came only because of the truck,how I've had to fight the insurance company for 2 weeks after I filed a claim against them and their insured person. I was a day away from losing my job because of not being able to get there, and that wasn't an option my family was willing to take! Nicole immediately got on the phone and was emailing other locations and manger's to find a way to get me exactly what I needed to take care of my family. I had to step outside to make some phone calls of my own, and less than 45 minutes later, she comes to me and let's me know what she was able to do. No more than a few minutes past and I see a brand new ram 1500 pull up and gets out and hands her the keys. My point is that she didn't have to go out of her way to help me, she could have just stopped looking after her computer said no trucks available. But instead she decided to get other managers and corporate involved and found a solution that saved us from some serious hardships. Thank you so much for your help and support.
