Thank you for declining Service! Due to allegedly rude behavior of my wife after questioning an extra $100 charge for incidentals. 2 years ago (see review of Marissa Broadway) GM promised to train staff on how to explain the charge for incidentals to a client - FAILED! Customer Service is not rocket science, address concerns, explain, viola you have a customer. My wife has tons of patience, she has put up with me for 16+ years!! Night clerk got her so worked up that I had to get into the office to figure things out. DLIC&Credit card - no problem, authorize $100 bucks for incidentals in case we wreck the place - sure! Then he mentioned that I might give him a bad review without me even saying anything about a review and literally told us to get out. Seriously? I even mentioned that he has the option to deny service to anybody and I am so GLAD he did. Down the road found a nice hotel for $9 more - no hassle check in, better rooms! In case the clerk is the owner - I highly recommend to listen to your review's feedback, learn from it, draw your consequences = you are unhappy in this job, quit! Find something that makes you smile.

Positive: Simple, but very clean and comfortable. Negative: English was the 2nd language of the desk clerk, who seemed a little unfamiliar with the process (an off night in the off season... maybe the manager was in FL?)but we made it through without great difficulty. Also road noise for my room.

We ended up at Knights Inn as a last resort after leaving Echo Valley Campground due to horrible Customer Service. This Knights Inn taught me that you can't always judge a book by its cover. We pulled in and were a bit concerned that we were one of the only vehicles there. However all other were booked so we stayed and are so glad that we did! It was extremely clean and well kept and the desk attendant was very kind. I used my Clorox wipes to wipe all surfaces in the room and bathroom and didn't get a speck of dust, dirt or hair! The area was also nice and quiet! Totally impressed!
