What difference from Rusteak. Very dirty. Waiters wipe the table scraps straight onto the floor. Make no attempt to collect. Outside area is disgusting. Watched a waitress wipe 4 tables with the same table wipe. Bar was cluttered with dirty glasses. Bathroom had no paper products. Tables were sticky. Same owners. Definitely not the same attention or atmosphere. Cheese sauce was gritty. They said o well. That’s the way it is. We wanted cheese not wheat paste.

Excellent Saturday brunch at the Stubborn Mule. We started with Bloody Marys, which were delicious, and the pork belly, which was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with a creamy dipping sauce. It was a huge portion! I got the shrimp and grits for my main. The shrimp were delicious and perfectly cooked. The grits were cheesey and tasty, but a little dry. It was almost like a grit cake more than grits. Our other entree was the Who Woke Up First (I think that was the name), which was basically a donut with fried chicken tenders and bacon on it, topped with a donut hole. Very creative and interesting, and tasty! It was served with breakfast potatoes, which were also delicious. Overall an excellent brunch, and we enjoyed the unseasonably cool Florida temps on the patio.

Burgers range from $14 - $16. Excellent quality and portion.
