I came to the ER with stabbing pain in the back of my neck and was paralyzed from the chest down. After multiple tests, it was discovered that had a staph infection in my spine. My life was on the line and every second counted. Dr. Hott and his team immediately rushed me into surgery and took care of the infection. The surgery went well. Days later, my stabbing neck pain was gone and started to get movement and sensation back from my chest down. After a month in the hospital, bodily functions returned and I was able to walk with a walker. Though I'm still recovering and doing physical therapy, three months after my surgery I can now walk without assistance. Dr. Hott is extremely caring and professional. The fact that I'm alive and not a paraplegic is a testament to his skills as a neurosurgeon. Dr. Hott and his team gave me my life back and I will be forever grateful.

We found out my husband had a septic spinal staph infection during a visit to the ER after his body went completely numb and he could not move from the chest down for no apparent reason. He needed emergency spinal surgery along a large length of his cervical vertebrae. Dr. Hott got him into the operating room quickly after they figured out what was wrong. He and his team did an amazing job. Dr. Hott removed portions of multiple vertebrae and cleared out the infection to help decompress the spinal cord. Before surgery, my husband was expected to need a wheelchair for the rest of his life. It's been 5 weeks, and his recovery has been amazing. He can now walk again and get around the house on his own. He is expected to make a full recovery. Dr. Hott didn't just save his life, he performed such a skillfully done surgery that my husband can now expect to get back to everything he loves to do. We are so thankful to have had him as my husband's neurosurgeon. He is the BEST!

I am Soo impressed with the office personnel and Dr Jonathan Hott!! They were able to get me in for an appointment over 2 weeks early, due to a cancellation. I appreciated their attention to detail! Dr Hott answered all my questions and concerns. I am looking forward to seeing him again after my MRI!! I thoroughly trust him if I do need to have back surgery.

Dr. Hott specializes in Spine Surgery. He does not treat carpal tunnel. A hand specialist would be a better option for evaluation & treatment.
