This is a fantastic place to rent videos! I can't say enough good things about it. I've been a customer now for about three years and never had a bad experience. There have only been a few times they didn't have what I was looking for and those were pretty niche searches. I love renting movies there knowing that my money is directly supporting true and honest Alaskan locals and not Amazon or Google. Absolutely worth the drive if I know what I'm watching that night.

First time to visit this place today. I had no idea this was in town. I've been bummed since blockbuster closed down because redbox just doesn't have the selection of a real video rental place. And, now that we've upgraded to 4k I've discovered that 4k movies are super expensive to buy ($30+, no, really!) and there is nowhere else to get them in town other than buying them. Enter, Rainbow Video. They actually have a pretty good selection of 4k movies (our family likes kids movies as well as action movies). Probably had about 150 4k movies, as well as a whole bunch of dvd's and blue ray discs. Good selection of new releases. Prices are not bad at all, $3 for two nights for 4k discs. Also, they rent video games, including switch games, for $2.50 for two nights. So glad to have found this place, our family will be regulars for sure.
