Called multiple times to get an appointment with no answer so I came in as a walk in. Waited over 2 hours to be told the Birthday on my prescription for blood donation was incorrect and they needed to confirm with the Doctor. Doctor was closed. Then refused to take my blood donation without a prescription due to “policy”. Horrible waste of time. Never coming back again.

Great experience yesterday donating platelets. Many thanks to the staff for their expertise, professionalism, and humor.

Don't go here. It's a total waste of time. They don't have staff to collect whole blood donations so people are left waiting hours for a 15 minute blood donation routinely, even with appointments.

It doesn’t make sense to make an appointment if people with appointments after yours go first. They do not look at appointments so just walk in.

Hello Michael! OneBlood is a not-for-profit organization and regulated by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). Volunteer donors remain the only source of blood for patients in need. FDA regulations prohibit blood centers from paying donors for their lifesaving donations. However, it is common for us to recognize donors by offering special promotional items such as t-shirts, coupons, discount tickets or gift cards. The availability of these items may change or may not always be available to donors depending on the specific promotion or location.
Hello, Becky. You will be eligible to donate blood 24 hours after your last dose of antibiotics. We look forward to seeing you.
Appointments are no longer required, but they are highly recommended. It helps manage social distancing for safety for both donors and team members.
Thank you for your interest in being a blood donor. We cannot pay for blood donations since the blood we collect is transfused to patients. We do offer a thank you gift to our donors, which varies by date and location. You can find more information on our website www.oneblood.org
Other factor is if you received blood or if you received any tissue, such as from a cadaver. If so, it is 12 months until you can donate.
