I had the most amazing treatment from the staff, nurses, Doctor Taylor, and Anesthesiologist. My mother n law was blown away at the care advent gave. The prayers given was a blessing alone. I would recommend Calhoun Advent for any surgical need. Thank you!!!

Always excellent care at Dr Phillip Gray’s office. Promptly taken back to the exam room. Jessica and (brain cramp—can’t remember other nurse name—sorry) are so very sweet and keep Dr Gray on schedule. Five stars plus. Front desk personnel always so very professional.

I had a c-section here on 4/1/22, I was really anxious since I had never had surgery, or even stitches before. The nurses were so reassuring I was able to stay calm and go through what turned out to be a really smooth surgery. They kept me comfortable while I recovered over a 3 night stay and helped us alot with our baby girl. There is still more to review since we haven't had a look at any billing yet so we're waiting to see if our lovely experience cost a small fortune. Overall though I feel like I had an experience that I can say everything went better than expected. Thank you so much to all the nursing staff, Dr's, pediatricians and anesthetic team for going above and beyond!

Review for Edna Owens Breast Center Hi, this review is very important to me being the daughter of a breast cancer survivor. Before starting, let me apologize for what I am hoping will be an exceptionally detailed review of my experience, and what is important to me as someone who has an increased risk of developing breast cancer. I had hoped Google would have accepted the recommendation of adding the Edna Owens Breast Center as an independent location for reviews. I have to start by thanking God for sprinkling my life with caring people, and professionals who have their hearts in the right place- how the journey of any woman who has to take yearly mammograms to rule out breast cancer. I speak not only for me but for all of my friends who are breast cancer survivors or are at high risk due to family history- we become very nervous around the time we have a scheduled mammogram. It is with this in mind that I decided to provide women with a detailed review. The area where the center is located has reduced environmental factors that can contribute to increased stress. The area is clean, orderly, quiet, and welcoming. As one enters into the center, the staff appear to relax and don’t “assault” you with synchronous greetings. -This is not the time most visitors would want to call attention to themselves. Unlike my experience at other centers, the staff appears to be having a good day. Also, very important in reducing an already stressful visit where many of us wish we didn’t have to make the yearly visit. The decor, the color combination, furniture…like in most breast imaging centers, is very relaxing and geared towards appealing to the female gender. That too is important because it sends the subtle cue that the decor was chosen focused on women, and to ease any excitement an alternative design might incite. When I was called to slip on my gown, the nurse too appeared professional and informative. It was comforting the nurse gave me the option of retaining a semblance of “control” by allowing me to lower the top of my dress, and slip the robe over my clothes. What impressed me most in the dressing area is the center’s interest in informing patients. Patients are provided with a video discussing genetic testing and a summary of why testing might be important. The screening is elective. —This waiting area is the second area where a sign informing women of the pressure felt during the mammogram procedure was displayed. The outside waiting area is the first encounter where women are provided information on the procedure. In the mammography area, I was made to feel relaxed before the procedure. One thing that stands out to me the most is the individual, disposable mat placed on the machine where the breast will be imaged. The placemat provides some warmth while the breast is imaged. —The 3rd area was where there was a sign displaying information on the discomfort of the procedure. An indication the center wants patients to become with the procedure. The ultrasound room was dimly lit, and decorated with a painting that gave hope, not overstimulation. Finally, I was taken to a different area that was a mixture of neutral and warmth and comfort. There patients get to speak with a geneticist, and are given time to decide if we want to proceed. The lab is performed, and staff informs the patient of cost and what to expect next. In sum, the staff’s kindness and concern for me confirmed the message the whole environment and decor were attempting to convey- “relax, we’re here for you.” You can’t beat the feeling of security and concern when that is exactly what you need in that moment in time. My mom and I will definitely visit Edna Owens in the future.

Not sure, but they could probably tell you if you call...very nice people
Yes! No more than 2 visitors at a time!
Yes, they have meat options. They serve chicken, turkey, and beef. The only meat not served in pig...therefore, all bacon or hams would end up turkey or soy based. Also, hotdogs and corn dogs are beef thus pig free.
One of the safest places you could ever be. You are surrounded by highly trained Healthcare professionals that are only focused on providing the best and safest care.
Yes, for all but COVID cases
Progressive care unit it's upstairs not for from ICU. It's the level of care between a regular room and the icu
It would be best to talk to them at the hospital. My fiancé and I have both resolved issues with them. Very nice and helpful people there.
You might want to call Mercy Care out of Rome Georgia they put you in non-profits all over the state so where you're at would be fine and it's a federal training program so you get paid for volunteering up to 20 hours a week and I know they've got a couple of hospitals now on the board that need volunteers so you might want to check with Mercy Care Rome you can find their number on the internet. It doesn't pay much but it's an extra for $500 a month.
You would have to call the ER and ask them
Dear Mrs. or Ms. Bartenfield, Thank you for your inquiry. The office phone number for Northwest Georgia Women's Care where Dr. Joy Nwadike practices is 706-879-5770.
A yearly exam is often free under many insurance plans. Best bet would be to give them a call to get the correct price based on your coverage.
They do accept pregnancy medicade.
If you have insurance take your card/info. If it's not an emergency use the Urgent Care in the immediate area. If you are a veteran, are using VA medical care? Then you can use the Rome clinic
ICU visiting hours are 6:30am to 8:30am and 6:30pm to 8:30pm. I hope this information is useful.
Im sorry, Bill, you will have to contact the hospital receptionist for this information.
The Calhoun Seventh-Day Adventist Church is located on Rome Road (Highway 53). Its been several years since Ive visited there but the Pastor's name at least used to be Dr. Phil White.
