I needed a trailer hitch installed on my vehicle. The tech installed the wiring and then told me he "needed more time" for the hitch, so wanted me to drive there, pick up my vehicle and return it the next morning" which I just could not do with how long that would take and my current life schedule. He then said I could "take the chance" leaving the vehicle in the lot. He did finally agree to put the vehicle in the garage offer night. But when I arrived the next day at the agreed to time, the work hadn't been done. He says the bolts were too difficult to remove to install the hitch, but I had to pay for the wiring installation. I did, but in the drive home, the wiring hadn't been secured and was damaged by the time I was home from dragging. No one returned my calls. I got the hitch installed at another auto shop (who says the bolts weren't that difficult) and replace the wiring myself. When I finally was able to contact the store manager, he only offered to fix the wiring if "it was actually their fault", which I had already done, and refuse any sort of refund. If the couldn't install the whole hitch, they should never have started the job. A waste of a few hundred dollars.

It all depends on the size truck you need and how many miles you think your gonna go in total. Also you have to return the truck with the same amount of gas it was on when you got it or they will charge you a higher rate for gas to get it back to where it was. I had the big truck because I had a 3-4 bedroom house to move and it cost $39.99 for truck and you will have an option to take the insurance or not. That cost 14.99. They will charge you $39.99 for every day you have the truck. They will put a hold on your bank account until you return the truck and then whatever the total amount is at the end of it all they will either take more money if it cost more than your estimated miles or if you didn't use the estimated amount of miles you gave them when you pick up they will correct the amount. Hope this helps
They also have higher rates on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
The Uhaul lot itself has no customer parking. However, instead of having to park on the street, Uhaul has worked out a deal with the Dollar General directly across the street so that the spots on their lot closest to the Uhaul side can be used for Uhaul customer parking without any penalty. Customers just have to park with their vehicle facing the Uhaul location.
