Online auction was good but getting the item when out of the immediate area is impossible at a reasonable cost. This auction company works with local mailing/shipping companies that bring new meaning to the term "price gauging." For the first time ever (out of over 250+ previous auction wins), I ended up forfeiting my winning item back to them. Unfortunately, I will never bid on their items again because of this experience. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO SLOSBERG RESPONSE (7 MONTHS LATER): The item I won was a baseball. This baseball, with a tiny bit of bubblewrap and a box weigh less than a pound and would cost $6.25 to ship via USPS. The shipping company that Slosberg works with (and gets a kickback for referral business, per the shipping company) was set to charge around $42.

Gave them $20,000. worth of my home furnishings etc. They gave me a check for $800+ dollars. Then they sent me a bill for moving the stuff to theirs auction house for close to $900.!!! Great place to buy good stuff cheap BUT sellers BEWARE!!

We usually have them once or twice a year and depending on rarity & condition and do very well with them.
