The Colony Aquatic Park

The facility has shifted into the "school year schedule". Most of the time slots are programmed with different classes and teams. Public Swim is available Mornings: M/W/F 9:30-10:30; Mid-Day M/W/F 12:30-1:30; Evenings: Th 7:35-8:30. In September, we add M/W 7:35-8:35pm Additional times are available for Adult Exercise & Lap Swim.

It depends on the district. Lewisville ISD got out today, Frisco got out yesterday, Lake Dallas and, I think, Denton get out tomorrow.

Unfortunately, state laws changed after the facility was built... and 10 1/2 feet became too shallow for diving boards. We moved the swim team's Racing Start Blocks to the deep end in their place.

We confirmed with our meteorologist that today had too much electricity in the air and it would be better to cancel. All of our Semi-Private students got email notices. If you missed yours... please contact us so that we can check your email address. THANKS, and hope for sunny class days!

We are up and running our 2021 summer schedule. Usually we kick off swim team style programs at 5:30 or 6:30 in the mornings and run a variety of activities all day. Our Public Swim starts at 1pm. OR if you are an adult looking for morning times, we have special operations available for seasonal pass holders at 9am. Please call and we will catch you up to date!

Our facility was one of the first to allow mermaid tails! We have developed a simple test for swimmers to show their competency. If they can't pass, they may wear the mermaid tail... but with a properly fitting life jacket.

If you already have your Park & Rec ID card, an Individual Resident is $45 OR a Family Resident is $90. The pass is seasonal (Summer, Fall- Christmas, and New Years -Spring). Please give us a call and we can fill you in on some of the great insider perks!

Yep. There's an inside pool and an outside one. Also pavilions around the outside pool and spray ground.
