The yogurt is cultured directly in the containers it's sold in, so it'll be a solid mass when you open it. If you want it smooth, just give it a good stir. Also the milk is not homogenized, so there might be a layer of cream on top. Tldr, just thoroughly stir it
In Philadelphia I buy it at the Mariposa Food Co-op. I'm sure many other co-ops carry it.
