The staff are incredibly rude, judgmental, and lacking in hospitality and common courtesy. Several times the staff have exhibited behavior and treatment to me and my family that is absolutely unacceptable of anyone working in the hospitality industry. The first instance came when my husband and I, and my parents had a reservation booked out a year in advance and about 2 weeks before our trip to Mormon Lake for said event, our reservation mysteriously disappeared. This is after several phone calls verifying our reservation beforehand. There was backlash from the employees and management that we had never made a reservation and they wouldn't do anything to rectify the situation. This was "our fault" for "assuming" we had made a reservation. Eventually, we decided to let bygones be bygones and make a trip to Mormon Lake for Memorial Day Weekend 2017. The reservations representative, Judy, is one of the most rude women I have encountered in my life. How she has sustained a position at any establishment with her attitude and treatment of guests is beyond my comprehension. The camp host, Tip, is just as rude - if not worse. Not only did he rudely scold my husband as if he were a child for temporarily parking a vehicle in the wrong, yet vacant spot while getting our trailer unhooked and set up. When my husband told Tip that the spot was reserved by our friends who weren't able to make it, he said "We will see about that! What is their last name?" And when we gave the correct last name, he proceeded to be upset about the vehicles regardless of the facts that they were only temporarily parked there while we situated our trailer and the person who reserved the spot they were parked in, WERE NOT COMING! He also set us and our neighbor up so that our awnings were practically touching. When my husband suggested we set up so that we each have our own private space, Tip proceeded to scold my husband and told him that he shouldn't be telling a "professional" how to do his job. Our neighbor decided to re-position his trailer to make it so his party had more privacy. Later on, this neighbor decided to turn his trailer back to face ours because the neighbors on the other side of him were playing music with vulgar lyrics incredibly loud and it was bothering him and his family. Furthermore, on Saturday night, our party of four had a quiet, relaxing evening hanging out outside of our trailer playing bags until roughly midnight. We got hungry and had called the pizza parlor at 10:30 PM to verify that they were if they were open. Finding out they were indeed closed, we chose to grill some hot dogs as a late night snack. We all went to sleep shortly after midnight. Leaving all of our vehicles parked in their designated areas. On Sunday morning, Tip came to our site and quite literally POUNDED on the siding of our trailer startling everyone inside awake. He immediately began yelling at my husband saying he knocked on our door 20 minutes the previous night at 9:45 PM trying to park someone in the space next to ours. Apparently our recreational Jeep was hanging over over site line by about 1 1/2 feet. There was enough room to park 2 RV's in the space, let alone one, IF there was one that actually needed to be parked there. And since we had been up until a little after midnight (with proof in our phone call log showing we called the pizza parlor at half past 10), we were all very well aware of the fact that NO ONE was trying to park, and Tip NEVER came knocking on our door as he said he did. We later found out that Tip and his wife Judy created FALSIFIED noise complaints on us. These reports indicate that our neighbor and ended up ILLEGALLY charging our credit for the other space that our friends had reserved, and paid for in advance. How this establishment is still operating under these circumstances in beyond me. I thought the first time we had an issue was a one time thing, and everyone deserves a second chance. But, after this last trip, we will never spend our money at this resort until these employees are terminated.
