It is sad that the quality has declined so much. The angel food cake has a gritty texture now, instead of the light and fluffy cake it used to be. The lemon meringue pie had too much lemon and the filling is maybe an inch thick now. The sizes of all their baked goods are so small now. Even he eclairs, which was my favorite place in Rochester to get them, was bad. I have bought these several times over the last few months, hoping that they were just having a bad day, but that was not the case. Even the presentation of the baked goods is poor. It's like they don't even care anymore. Very sad. The one thing that still seems decent are the mountain rolls. But many items are not even fresh anymore and kept on the shelf way too long.

I've never had anything bad from here for as long as I can remember so thats at least 35 years!! But the cupcakes they made for my daughter's birthday were just amazing and so beautiful! Plus the frosting was delicious and I typically don't enjoy frosting!

Nice cash only bakery. Perfect little tender sweet cakes. Got my mother's and my husband's birthday cakes from this bakery. The quality and price cannot be beat! Perfect every time!

We normally stop Saturday late morning and they usually have them so don't be afraid to just stop and see. It's our most frequent purchase but there are lots of good kuchens and they are a good deal at $8, I think. Part of the fun at Jacksons is going in there and having to decide. Theres one other i really like with pecan pieces and a butterscotch type frosting that was suggested on the spot, as well as fruit topped ones. Cant decide? Try a selection of danish, but those go quickly. But before a holiday, always preorder anything you need as it gets incredibly busy.
There is a sign on the counter, but it's hard to see if there are a lot of customers. I'm sorry that happened but all of the baked goods are wonderful. The staff are also nice, give it a try again since you know now that its cash only.
I do believe that they carry them and chocolate cream too..

I love self important questions such as these. Considering the business was so slammed they couldn't answer the phone, how on earth would they have time to log onto their google business account, check to see of they had any new reviews, and perhaps answer questions customers or potential customers had about their business? If I had told them 1pm in the first place, I would expect to wait.
